Version 3.0 • Updated 8 October 2026
BeSuro™ is a single-use sticker for preliminary screening of selected substances in beverages. This guide explains how to use your sticker, interpret the result, handle unused stickers and understand the product’s limitations.
No result guarantees that a drink is safe. If you suspect tampering or feel unwell, stop drinking and seek help regardless of the result.
Before testing
Check the expiry, packaging and sticker condition. Do not use expired, damaged, wet, contaminated or previously tested stickers. If the expiry cannot be established, ask BeSuro™ before use; do not calculate expiry from your purchase date. Keep hands and any sample applicator clean and avoid touching the test areas.
Use a clean, dry, flat surface in good light. The back of a phone or another suitable flat surface can support the sticker. Read the beverage limitations in this guide before testing.
During testing
Peel off the protective cover. Apply one drop of your drink to the centre of the test so the sample covers both designated test areas. Do not immerse the sticker, add water or chemicals, or keep adding drops to force a result. If both areas are not wetted or the test is contaminated, do not interpret it as a valid negative. Use a fresh sticker for a new test.
Check the result at 5 seconds after applying the drink sample. Observe both test areas in good light. Do not interpret an unchanged result before 5 seconds as a negative result. If the result is unclear at 5 seconds, treat it as inconclusive rather than waiting for a more reassuring response.
Understanding the result
CAUTION or positive colour change: If the GHB test area turns blue or the other-drug test area turns orange-red, do not drink the beverage. Either response is sufficient; both areas do not need to change. A positive response does not identify the exact substance, its amount or prove that tampering occurred.
CLEAR or no colour change: This means only that the specified positive response has not been observed. “Clear” does not mean safe, drug-free or free of contamination. False negatives are possible.
Unclear or unreadable result: Do not treat it as reassurance or keep drinking while trying to interpret it. If tampering is suspected, do not consume the drink even if a later test appears negative.
What BeSuro™ cannot establish
Limited detection scope. BeSuro™ screens for GHB, ketamine, flunitrazepam, benzodiazepines and scopolamine within its detection limits. Flunitrazepam belongs to the benzodiazepine family. “5-in-1” does not mean five mutually exclusive drug classes, detection of every substance within a class, or five stickers per pouch. BeSuro™ does not detect every harmful substance.
Screening uncertainty. False-negative and false-positive results are possible. Concentration, beverage composition, sample application, reading time, storage and product condition can affect the result. A substance may be present without producing a detectable response.
A detection threshold is not a safe-consumption threshold. A negative response cannot establish that any substance present is at a harmless concentration. The test does not measure alcohol strength.
Beverage interference
Milk can cause a false-positive GHB response. Red wine can interfere with colour interpretation, making positive and negative responses difficult to distinguish. Do not rely on results from milk, milk-based drinks or red wine to decide that they are safe to consume.
Beverage compatibility is not universal. Different brands, cocktails, mixers and recipes may affect the test or its readability. Strong beverage colour or poor lighting may obscure the response. If you cannot distinguish the response clearly, treat it as unreadable. Do not use repeated tests to override suspicion of tampering.
No continuous protection. The result relates to the sample tested at that time. It cannot rule out later tampering, remove substances from a drink or prevent spiking. BeSuro™ does not measure whether someone is fit to drive or how intoxicated they are.
No diagnostic or forensic conclusion. BeSuro™ is for beverage screening, not human specimens, diagnosis or treatment. It does not replace medical assessment, laboratory toxicology testing or a police investigation. A result alone is not conclusive legal evidence.
Everyday best practices
Keep your drink in sight and avoid unattended drinks. Stay connected with trusted people and seek help if something feels wrong. Testing adds a screening step; it does not replace these precautions. Responsibility for spiking always lies with the person who commits it.
Storage and unused stickers
Protect unused stickers from moisture, contamination, direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep test surfaces covered and products in their protective packaging until required. Avoid hot vehicles and nearby heat sources. Do not heat, chill or freeze a test to try to improve its response.
Open the pouch only when needed and remove only the sticker you intend to use. Keep the protective covers on the remaining stickers and close the pouch promptly. Do not assume that resealing restores the original sealed condition or extends the printed expiry. Contact support@besuro.com for advice on keeping remaining stickers after opening or if storage conditions have been compromised.
Do not put stickers in your mouth or swallow them. Keep unused and used tests away from young children and pets. Dispose of used tests safely under local waste requirements; seek advice on preservation first if an incident is suspected.
If you suspect spiking or feel unwell
Stop drinking and move to a safe place with someone you trust. Tell venue staff or a trusted person what has happened. Seek prompt medical help; call the local emergency number if symptoms are severe or worsening. Do not wait for a test or repeat test before seeking help, and do not drive yourself.
Stay with an affected friend and help them obtain assistance. Report suspected spiking to local police as appropriate. If safe, retain the drink, container and product packaging for the authorities, but never delay medical care to collect evidence.
Product questions and reporting a problem
Contact support@besuro.com or use the support link on your pack. For a product concern, provide the order number, pouch batch or lot number, serial number if present, expiry date and a brief description. These details help us investigate and trace affected stock. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information.
This guidance does not restrict your statutory consumer rights. Product quantity, design assortment and promotional terms are shown separately on the relevant product listing.
Retain the pouch or a photograph of its batch and serial identifiers while using the stickers. Follow any recall or stop-use notice affecting your batch. Support email is not an emergency service. Collectible artwork or rarity does not indicate greater sensitivity or broader detection coverage.
